The Madrigal family might not talk about Bruno, but everyone else is as the catchy song smashes records on the Billboards.
Disney’s Encanto “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” has gone viral since the release of the film on Nov. 24, 2021 and now the hit song is nearing Billboard record set by Aladdin’s “A Whole New World.”
The catchy song is currently sitting in the No. 2 spot behind Adele’s “Easy On Me” on the Billboard Hot 100 this week and the movies soundtrack is at its second week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
In fact, “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” has become Billboard’s highest charting Disney song in 26-years.
Performed by Carolina Gaitán, Mauro Castillo, Adassa, Rhenzy Feliz, Diane Guerrero and Stephanie Beatriz, “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” focuses on Mirabel, desperate to know more about her uncle Bruno, a relative who had disappeared years ago. The rest of the family refuses to talk about him, but many relatives have horror stories of Bruno’s predictions about their futures and how they came true.
“Surface Pressure” is also seeing a lot of love on social media and is currently sitting at the No. 10 spot.
