A Tribute to the Life of Diana Pratt
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Diana Pratt, who departed this life on July 30, 2025, at the age of 78.
Diana, born Diana Bryant to Earl and Inez Bryant on December 11, 1946, in Detroit, Texas. From a young age, she displayed a joyful spirit, a generous heart, and an unlimited curiosity that shaped the remarkable person she became.
Diana was recognized for her relationships with family, friends, and animals. She was assertive and expressed her views. She maintained her faith throughout her life.
Diana is survived by her sons James Earl Young and Gregory Ray Young, daughter Glenda Gale Baird, sisters Patricia Cochran and June Mullens, 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, 2 nieces, 5 nephews, and their families. She formed many meaningful friendships and will be fondly remembered by her loved ones and family for the memories they shared.
Diana was preceded in death by a daughter Lisa Luann Mendiola, and a nephew Anthony Loyell Whitley.
A service to celebrate Diana’s life will be held on August 2, 2025, at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home, 730 Clarksville Street, Paris, Tx. Friends and family are invited to gather, honor her memory, and share their stories and reflections at 1:00 pm and a service to follow at 2:00 pm.
Though Diana may be gone from our sight, her light, love, and laughter will live on forever in our hearts.
