Detroit FFA continues team success at the recent Leadership Development competition

Detroit FFA Area VI FFA Leadership Development Event Team Qualifiers have come away with another win for the team.

The week of Nov 18, Detroit had two teams go to Marshall and compete. The Area VI contest represents 96 schools and over 13,000 FFA members in Northeast Texas. 

“Matthew Marquez placed 3rd overall in the Senior FFA Creed Speaking Contest which makes him the 1st Alternate to state. The Senior Quiz Team of Bri Johnson, Kaitlyn Cooper, Bryanna Brown, and Matthew Marquez placed 11th in their contest. We are proud of you all and way to represent Detroit FFA,” said Detroit FFA teacher Tracy Denny.
