They may have been born twins, but Joslyn and Jaxon Tello were also born two worlds apart.
Being born 30-minutes apart isn’t out of the norm, but being born in two separate years and decades is certainly something you don’t hear every day.
Joslyn was born at 11:37 p.m. on New Year’s Eve in 2019, weighing 4 lbs. and 11 oz.
Precisely 30 minutes later, Jaxon came along, weighing 4 lbs. and 7 oz. And by then Indiana was already in 2020, meaning Jaxon has an entirely different birth day, year, and decade than his sister.
The Tello twins weren’t expected to arrive until Feb. 19, 2020, but sure enough, they must have heard their parents, Dawn Gilliam and Jason Tello, joke about the idea of having them born on different dates.
“Earlier, we talked about it would be great to have them born on different dates,” Tello said when they spoke to WBNS. “But here we are with this surprise – different dates, different years. That was definitely interesting for us for sure. We’re still kind of speechless still.”
