To raise money for its Pack, Cub Scout Pack 6002 is hosting a car wash this Sunday from 1-4 p.m. in Chick-fil-A’s parking lot at a minimum $5 donation.
Also as a community project for the pack, the car wash will help spread awareness Cub Scouts are still in Paris, “and we are looking for many more boys that enjoy outdoors, service projects, helping the community and also to grow with our scout laws and oath as young boys,” said Bear Den Leader Tiffany Smith.
“This is a fundraiser opportunity for us to be able to raise money for new uniforms for incoming scouts of the 2022-23 school year and to be able to get the belt loops that the scouts earn throughout the year,” Smith said.
Chick-fil-A is located at 3420 Lamar Ave., and the cubs will be there from 1-4 p.m. on July 24.
Cub Scout Pack is also hosting its sign ups on Aug. 29 from 6-8 p.m. at Love Civic Center, 2025 S Collegiate Dr.
