The Paris-Lamar County Health District on Monday reported four coronavirus related deaths and 79 new positive cases.
The deaths were reported in all males aged 52-years old, 80-years old, 83-years old and 87-years old bringing the total number of deaths since the beginning of the pandemic to 44.
To date, there have been a total of 1,999 positive cases in Lamar County with seven of those being travel-related and 1,992 community spread. A total of 863 are in males and 1,136 in females and there have been 46 positive antibody tests.
Currently, there are 187 active COVID-19 cases.
