Coke-Coffee? Yes, it really is a thing and will be available by the end of the year.
The drink blends Coca-Cola with coffee in a bid to appeal to consumers who want less sugar in their drinks but more caffeine.
“Coke Coffee was designed to reach consumers during specific occasions and channels like the mid-afternoon energy slump of work,” said CEO James Quincey during an earnings call.
According to Fox Business, the coffee-infused drink has more caffeine than a regular Coca-Cola and contain less sugar.
The product is already being offered in international markets including Vietnam, Brazil and Columbia. Coke Coffee varies from country to country in that some versions have sugar and others do not
Coca-Cola is planning to launch Coca-Cola Coffee in 25 markets by the end of the year.
