Chromebooks enhance student learning

Second and third-grade students at Everett Elementary are using touchscreen Chromebooks to boost their learning experience on the web.  Chromebooks are unique in that they are designed to run internet apps to access software that lives primarily on the Web rather than inside the computer itself.  The books are secure, easy to use, and cloud-based so they automatically update and are always current.

Second-grader Erny Krahn follows his teacher’s instructions for using the Chromebook on an assignment.
