The annual CHIPS Education Benefit Banquet has been set for Saturday, September 22nd at the Chisum High School.
It is the mission of the Chisum High Incentive Program for Seniors to challenge students to strive for a quality education by providing financial incentives and educational opportunities for those students meeting high academic standards.
Dinner starts at 6 p.m. with beef and chicken fajitas being served with all the fixings.
The live and silent auction will follow dinner with music being provided by the CHS Band.
Tickets are $15. Children under 5-years-old are free.
Ticket includes dinner and an entry into the drawing for a 2-night stay in a cabin in Beavers Bend donated by Kenny Dority valued at $1,100.
All proceeds from the banquet will benefit Chisum students who will continue their education beyond high school.
