Chris and Chellsie Mantooth are excited to announce the birth of their son, Chief Theodore Christopher Mantooth.
Born Sunday, Oct. 4 at 4:06 a.m. at Paris Regional Medical Center, Chief weighed 8lbs 15 oz and was 21 inches long.
Sibling(s): Cylee Wherley
Grandparents: Mickie and Chris Calisto, Mary Mantooth, Theda, and Anthony Patterson.
Meaning behind the name: “I always joked if we had a son I would name him Chief because Chris is Choctaw Indian and Cylee liked it so much it stuck,” said Chellsie. “Since we waited to find out the gender till delivery we had to have both a girl name and boy name and I couldn’t decide on anything so Cylee named him. Turns out that his great-great grandfather’s name was Chief too.”
Congratulations, Chris and Chellsie.
