Chick-fil-A will drop its popular side salad from the menu on Apr. 3, replacing it with the Kale Crunch Side and fans aren’t happy about the announcement.
The changes was first revealed on Mar. 20 via a flyer on Chick-fil-A’s Tifton Georgia Facebook page that said, “We are spring cleaning here at Chick-fil-A and taking this opportunity to refresh our menu. The side salad’s last day will be April 1.”
Several other restaurants confirmed the news with a spokesperson for the company “officially” telling The Fast Food Post that they are discontinuing the side salad and replacing it with the Kale Crunch Side beginning Apr. 3, 2023.
The Kale Crunch Side features a blend of Curly Kale and Green Cabbage tossed with Applr Cider and Dijon Mustard vinaigrette and topped off with salted, crunchy Roasted Almonds.
The fast-food company will also increase the size of its Kale Crunch Side to a large.
