The first annual Chandler Sikes Memorial 5K Fun Run is being held Saturday, Oct. 22 at the Love Civic Center beginning at 8 a.m.
Sikes, a former two-way lineman for the Paris Wildcats, tragically died in a vehicle wreck in Abilene on Sept. 21, 2021. He was 18-years old.
Those wanting to participate can register online, click here, or on the day. Registration is $10 for students and $25 for adults.
All funds raised from the event will go towards the Chandler Sikes Scholarship with the Paris Education Foundation.
There will be live music at the event and Scholl Bros. BBQ will be on-site.
The Love Civic Center is located at 2025 South Collegiate Drive in Paris.
