Brittany Shadell Dache Brinson (Schweer), age 40, of Paris, Texas, passed away on August 12th, 2024 after a long battle with Cancer.
Brittany was born on April, 28th, 1984 to Bruce Wayne Brinson and Lynette Brinson in Enid, OK. In 1986, her brother Rusty, her infamous sidekick, was born. Brittany grew up with her father and brother in Cleo Springs, Oklahoma. Brittany was active in the First Christian Church of Cleo Springs, enjoyed summer church camps and activities and was baptized in 1992 with her brother, cousins and friends. In 1997 she gained step mother, Kim Richy, and step-siblings, Bryan and Sheena Ochab. As a child, she enjoyed helping her daddy at the sand-pit and spending time with her Grandma Olive and playing with her siblings and cousins, often enjoying the sandy beaches of Eagle Sand & Gravel. After Brittany graduated from Aline-Cleo High School in 2002, she went on to hustle and explore life. Brittany studied psychology at Oconner’s State College online and in 2017, she graduated as a certified dog groomer from Muddy Paws Pet Grooming School in Tulsa, OK and explored her love of working with animals.
In 2006, Brittany married Jeremy Schweer in Shawnee, OK. Brittany and Jeremy went on to have 3 children, Izaac Leonard Dean Schweer, James Bretton Orin Schweer, and Zayden Bruce Wayne Schweer and in 2011 Brittany brought into the world a daughter, Karyzma LaFaye Barnett. Wanting to give her children better lives, the boys were adopted by Dianna (Fisher) Boeckman and Karyzma was adopted by Lanette (Barnett) Russell.
Throughout her adult life, Brittany spent her time hustling with her fur babies, especially Jo-Jo, and caring for and finding homes for fur babies needing families. She also enjoyed cooking for her family and friends and definitely inherited the knack for baking and decorating cakes from her family. Brittany was her Grandma Glenda’s (Nanny’s) first granddaughter which gave them a very special bond. Brittany and her “Aunt Mama”-Darla were always known to be in the mix of some ornery shenanigans. In later years, she moved to Paris, TX with her mother, Lynette, and cared for her until her death last year while fighting her own battle with cancer. Brittany was a lover of all people, she never met a stranger and never had anything that she was not willing to give or share.
Brittany was preceded in death by her father, Bruce Brinson; mother, Lynette Beard; grandfather, Wayne Brinson; grandmother, Glenda Moser; grandfather, Leonard Mancuso; grandmother Francis “Tudi” Mancuso; and great-grandmother, Olive Brinson.
She is survived by her sons Izaac, Jaymes, and Bruce Brinson of Ardmore, and daughter, Karyzma Barnett of Broken Arrow; brother Rusty Brinson of Cleo Springs, OK; half-siblings, Trey Harmon of Tulsa, Chance Harmon of Arkansas, Hayden Harmon of Stillwater, and step-siblings, Sheena and Bryan Ochab; aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Celebration of life will be held at a date to be determined.
