Paris Police responded to an alarm activation at Liberty National Bank, 305 Lamar Avenue, around 2:41 p.m. Thursday.
“While responding, a patrol officer noticed an individual running between houses between Houston and Price and began a foot chase,” said Chief Hundley.
Hundley said the suspect is a 38-year-old male, white and who lives in Lamar County.
The man was captured in the back yard of a residence on E. Price Street.
The investigation is continuing.
