Brandon Scott Smith, 32 of Brookston, went to rest with his Savior on Tuesday August 14, 2018.
Funeral services have been set for Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Dr. Gary Reed officiating. Interment will follow at Red Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.
Brandon was a Husband, Father, Son, Brother, and true Friend. Brandon understood the value of hard work, and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. Brandon was fun-loving and went out of his way to make sure everyone around him had a smile on their face. Above all, Brandon loved Jesus and his family. Brandon was dependable, and never backed down from a challenge.
Brandon was born December 2, 1985 in Paris, Texas to loving parents Phillip and Gale Smith. He graduated Roxton High School in 2004. He was employed at PJ trailers. He is survived by his wife and the love of his life, Stephanie Smith and her children that he loved as his own, Kaelynn Remy and Harley Hatfield Parents Phillip and Gale Smith: brothers, Dale Smith and wife Morgan, Jeremy Smith and wife Kayla; Grandmother, Edna Frazier; Mother-in-Law, Patti Todd; Sister-in-law Jennifer Vickers and husband Jeremy; 6 nieces and nephews, Emory, Kensley, Avery, and Kyler Smith, and MaKenna and Bryleigh Morton as well as many friends and extended family members.
Brandon was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hollis Smith, Joann Doyle, and J.W. Frazier.
Pall bearers will be Austin Smith, Raymond Yanez, Robert Rickman, Johnathan Fernandez, Jeremy Vickers, and Chad Shoenig. Honorary Pallbearers will be Waylan Cherry and Harley Hatfield.
