Bonham ISD superintended Dr. Joy Wilson was placed on administrative leave on on Tuesday night, according to the school board president.
The decision was made during a special meeting because of ongoing concerns regarding the execution of Wilson’s duties and responsibilities.
Because evaluation and discipline of an educator is protected by law, the school cannot comment further.
Chief Operations Officer Jason Busbey will serve as acting superintendent.
