Shortly before 7 a.m. on Thursday, the Bonham Fire Department responded to a structure fire at Hickory Bar-B-Q; the second fire in the past few months.
On Jan. 6, 2024, the restaurant closed following a structure fire that firefighters were able to contain to the kitchen area only with minimal damage.
“Thank you for your patience and prayers as we make repairs,” said the Blevins family on social media on Jan. 8, 2024.
Damages from the most recent fire are undetermined at this time, however, it took crews from Station 1, 2 and 3 an hour to bring the fire under control.
The building was no occupied at the time and there were no injuries.
The Bonham Fire Department said two other businesses in the strip center received minor smoke damage.
