Billy Earl Trenado, 77, of Paris, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at his home.
Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 26th at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with David Dickerson and Rev. Royce Dickey officiating. Burial will be made in Evergreen Cemetery.
Billy, the son of Prudenciano Trenado and Willie Mae Procella Trenado, was born Aug. 18, 1947, in Shreveport, LA.
He graduated from Paris High School and attended Paris Junior College. He began working at Piggly Wiggly and then at Uarco where he remained until the plant closed. Later, Billy began a career with Kimberly-Clark where he retired. He was a member of the United Pentecostal Church and had been a member of the Kiwanis Club before his health failed. He loved baseball and coached The Indians in Little League. He proudly served two terms on the Paris City Council.
Family was Billy’s greatest joy. He loved being with and around his family. He always said, “God’s greatest blessing and gift to him was his family.”
His parents, a son, Jeremy Earl Trenado, and a brother, Joe Trenado preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Vicki Moss Trenado, whom he married on June 21, 1969, building 56 years of family and memories, one daughter, Wendi Burton and husband Nick, a granddaughter, Maggi Burton and fiancé Roby Pridemore, a brother, Virgil Trenado and wife Dorothy, a sister, Tina Miller and husband Leon, and a sister-in-law, Priscilla Trenado along with numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
