Billie Horton Duff Mills, 81, of Paris, passed away Sunday, Sept. 2, 2018, at Paris Regional Medical Center.
Services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8th, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Ollie Lee officiating. Private burial will follow in Meadowbrook Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
Billie, the daughter of Tommy & Mae Ola Horton Duff, was born Jan. 25, 1937, in Lamar County.
She worked at Hollywood Vasarette and later worked in retail at Bealls and Sears.
She was an avid flower gardener and loved traveling. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Paris.
Billie was preceded in death by her father, Tommy Duff on Nov. 26, 1972, her mother, Mae Duff Price on May 25, 2005, and a sister, Doris Faulkner.
Survivors include her husband, Jimmie Mills, whom she married on May 16, 1958, building sixty years of family and memories, two daughters; Judy Stephens & husband David of Paris and Jamie Wesson & husband Hal of Woodland, a grandson, Jordon Thielman & wife Nicole of Paris, and a sister, Rita Salter & husband Doug of Cotopaxi, CO along with several nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
