Give blood and support local first responders with the ‘Battle of the Badges Blood Drive’ June 22nd and 23rd.
“It is a competition between the police, fire, and EMS to see who collects the most blood,” said Paris police officer Curtis Graham.
Everyone who gives blood can tell Carter Blood Care who they are representing (police, fire, EMS) and at the end of the day, the winner will be announced.
“We are trying to collect 50 units between both days,” said Graham.
Those wanting to give blood can visit Atwoods Friday, June 22nd, or Wash Masters Saturday, June 23rd, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. both days.
“Every donor will receive a Battle of the Badges t-shirt and Texas Ranger’s BOGO voucher,” added Graham.
Blood products that are collected are serviced to Paris Regional Hospital.
