Barbara Ann Porter Campbell, born September 2, 1944, in Honey Grove, Texas, passed from this earth into the arms of her loving Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 23, 2018. She is survived by her husband, Jim Campbell; children; grandchildren and sister, Betty Annette.
Barbara will be forever remembered by her children and their families, Jim Campbell Jr. and his daughter Amanda; David Campbell, his wife Keri, and their children Emma, Jacob and Ben; Charlie Campbell, his wife Denise and their children Charles, Mark and Hannah; and Elizabeth Campbell, her husband B.J., and Elizabeth’s children Ryan, Jonathon and Bailey.
Barbara and her husband, who were wed on November 22, 1962, are active members of the Hunters Glen Baptist Church in Plano, Texas.
A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 27, 2018, in the Chicota Baptist Church with Dr. Mark Howell, pastor of Hunters Glen Baptist Church in Plano, officiating. Interment will be in the Forest Chapel Cemetery. Family viewing will be from 10:30 AM Wednesday till Noon at the church. Viewing for friends will be from Noon until service time.
