Baby Gunn’s Animal Rescue will have an adoption event this Saturday, Dec. 4, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Set up alongside Texas Furniture and Appliance, 310 Bonham St., the adoption event will have all kinds of fully-vetted dogs – large and small.
Texas Furniture and Appliance, hosting the organization, is also having a $1,000 La-Z-Boy recliner giveaway alongside BGAR’s adoption event. To enter in the La-Z-Boy giveaway, simply show up to Texas Furniture and Appliance for one entry, and five entries if you bring and donate a bag of dog food.
There will also be food trucks on site. Texas Furniture and Appliance will be open from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday.
For the animal adoption, basic adoption fees of $150 cover all vetting – vet check for health, heartworm test, shots, wormer, spay/neuter, microchip for life and flea/tick/heartworm med.
“Come see us and find your fur-ever friend,” Adoption Coordinator Sheri Ashford said.
All dogs require applications to ensure the pet “is a right fit for your family, and if you lease or rent your home we must have approval from the landlord to adopt.”
