Keep Paris Beautiful/Make Lamar County Shine is hosting its annual tree giveaway, alongside an e-cycle event on Feb. 25.
The organization is giving away small trees to Lamar County residents. In its ninth year, the tree giveaway event is on a first-come, first-served basis until all trees are distributed from 9:00 a.m.-noon on Feb. 25 in the Lamar County Courthouse’s parking lot, near the red brick road.
Alongside Keep Paris Beautiful/Make Lamar County Shine’s tree giveaway, the e-cycle event gives the community access to recycling electronic devices such as old cell phones, televisions, computers, monitors, tables, etc. in “a smart, responsible and eco-friendly way.”
The Lamar County Courthouse is at 119 N. Main Street in downtown Paris.
