Gifts of Love is the Meals on Wheels Annual Christmas Gift Program for their recipients. Each year, clients complete a sign up form for the program, and include things they both want and need. Then, those forms get transferred to Adoption Cards and then distributed in the community.
This year, you can pick up an adoption card at Paris Coffee Company or South Main Iron. Or, for bulk adoptions of 20 or more, call 903/784-2580 or email Shelly at hrctexas.ed@gmail.com.
After adopting, you can purchase 1 or more items off the card, put it in a Christmas gift sack, and then attach the adoption card to the outside of the bag before returning the gift to one of the adoption sites; Paris Coffee Company or South Main Iron.
All gifts are due back no later than December 4th.
“We have nearly 500 seniors, disabled individuals, and veterans who need to be adopted this year, and we can’t do it without the support of the community.”
