Aikin Elementary School proudly announces Tucker Kerby and Brooklynn Norman, both fourth graders, as the co-champions of the school’s annual spelling bee.
The competition included 24 student participants and proved to be especially intense, lasting an impressive 15 rounds. Tucker and Brooklyn showcased outstanding spelling ability, determination, and composure as they outlasted their peers to earn the top honor.
As co-champions, Kerby and Norman will advance to represent Aikin Elementary at the Lamar County Spelling Bee on February 4, 2026, at 4:45 p.m. The event will take place in the Weger Auditorium on the Paris Junior High School campus.
Aikin Elementary congratulates all students who participated in the spelling bee and commends Tucker Kerby and Brooklynn Norman for their remarkable achievement. The school community wishes them continued success as they prepare for the county competition.
