This week, during Clear The Shelter week, all dog and cat adoptions through the Lamar County Humane Association are only $20.
“Please consider adopting to help us clear the shelter! But if you cannot, please share or donate so that we can continue to find homes for our pets.”
The shelter is currently at capacity and adoptions are urgently needed.
The shelter is also in need of donations to help provide for the more than 4,000 animals they care for each year.
Wish list items include:
Dogs/puppies: puppy pads, dry adult/puppy food, wet adult/puppy food, collars SM/MD, KMR puppy milk replacer, wire crates, dog treats, stainless steel bowls, and flea prevention.
Cats/kittens: cat litter, litter boxes, dry adult/kitten food, wet adult/kitten food, KMR kitten milk replacer, stainless steel bowls, flea prevention, and cat carriers.
General office/cleaning supplies: sticky notes, copy paper, 55 gal trash bags, large zip ties, laundry detergent, bleach, dish soap, dog/cat shampoo, paper towel, disinfectant wipes, towels/rags, and old blankets.
Donations can be dropped off at 310 Clement Road in Paris.
