North Lamar ISD recognized Childhood Cancer Awareness Month during the Panthers’ home football game on Friday, September 18.
Before kickoff, North Lamar students who are cancer survivors or are currently battling cancer were invited onto the field to join the North Lamar football captains for the pregame coin toss.
The special moment gave the North Lamar community an opportunity to honor the strength and courage of children and families impacted by childhood cancer while raising awareness throughout the month of September.
North Lamar ISD is proud to stand alongside these young fighters, survivors and their families and to remember those whose lives have been impacted by childhood cancer.
