On July 21, Officers responded to a parole violation call in the 4300 block of Bonham Street. Officers determined the person had an active Lamar County Sheriff’s warrant for Motion to Proceed Assault Peace Officer/Judge. Officers arrested the subject, who was booked into the Paris City Jail without incident.
On July 22, An officer on patrol made contact with a person who was sleeping on the roadway in the 800 block of NW 7th Street. The person was found to have an illegal substance and was arrested and transported to the Lamar County Jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG1 < 1G.
On July 22, Officers were dispatched to an alarm call in the 100 block of NW 7th Street and made contact with a resident and two visitors and were allowed to enter the residence. While inside, some drug paraphernalia was observed in plain view. After speaking with those present, officers arrested the resident for Possession of a Controlled Subtance Penalty Group 1/1-B <1G. The individual was transported to the Paris City Jail and booked in without incident.
