Summer may be in full swing, but North Lamar athletes are already hard at work preparing for the upcoming school year through Panther Prep Youth Summer Camps.
Baseball, softball, football, and girls basketball camps have already kicked off and have seen tremendous participation from young students throughout the community eager to improve their skills, learn from North Lamar coaches and athletes, and have fun with friends. The camps provide students with the opportunity to develop fundamentals, build confidence, and experience what it means to be part of the Panther family.
The summer fun is far from over, with several camps still available for students to attend.
Youth Cheer Camp will be held June 15-17 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and is open to students ages 3 years old through 6th grade. Campers will learn cheers, chants, basic motions, and performance skills while building teamwork and school spirit.
Soccer Camp is scheduled for June 25-26. Students entering Kindergarten through 3rd grade will attend from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., while students entering 4th through 9th grade will attend from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Volleyball Camp will take place July 13-15. Students entering grades 3-6 will attend from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., while students entering grades 7-9 will attend from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
North Lamar’s summer camps are designed to help students develop athletic skills while building relationships with coaches and teammates in a positive and encouraging environment.
