After three decades of dedication to student-athletes and the athletic training profession, Paris ISD’s Chad Helberg has earned one of East Texas’ highest honors.
On Monday, Helberg was officially inducted into the East Texas Athletic Trainers Association Hall of Honor, cementing his legacy as a respected leader and advocate for athletic health and safety throughout the region.
“Congratulations, Chad! Wildcat Nation is incredibly proud of you and grateful for the difference you’ve made in the lives of so many,” said Paris ISD. “This recognition is a testament to the countless hours, unwavering dedication, and genuine care he has given to students throughout his career.”
A founding member of the association, Helberg has spent the past 30 years caring for student-athletes, supporting coaches, and helping generations of Wildcats compete safely and successfully.
His impact has extended far beyond the sidelines through his commitment, professionalism, and genuine care for the students he serves.
With his formal induction, Helberg now takes his place on the association’s Wall of Honor alongside others who have made lasting contributions to the field of athletic training.
