Sheila Jean Queen, 60, of Paris, Texas, passed away on May 7, 2026 at her home.
A celebration of life honoring Sheila will be held Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Springlake Baptist Church, 3500 Clarksville Street, Paris, Texas 75460.
Sheila was born on November 19, 1965, to James Harold Lester and Florence Mabeline Newton. She graduated from Paris High School and spent many years serving the community as the manager of the Whataburger on Lamar Street in Paris, Texas, where she was loved by coworkers, customers, and friends alike.
On June 10, 1991, Sheila married the love of her life, Kyle Edward Queen, in Paris, Texas. Together they built a life centered around family, love, and laughter.
Sheila is survived by her husband, Kyle Edward Queen; daughter, Krystal Edwards and husband Brian Edwards; son, Robert Newman; bonus children, Krista Garner and husband Eric Garner; grandchildren, Kevin Michael Edwards, Justin Kyle Edwards, Christopher Levi Edwards, bonus grandchildren, Jared Lee Garner, and Peyton Ellis Garner; great-grandchild, Kaiden Eli Edwards; brothers, Larry Lester and wife Jenni Lester, and Gary Lester and wife Misti Lester; sisters, Becky Ricks and her late husband, Tommy Ricks, and Sandra Moore and husband Wayne Moore; along with many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Sheila will be remembered for her caring heart, dedication to her family, and the kindness she showed to everyone she met. She touched many lives throughout her years and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Sheila’s memory to the American Heart Association.
