Everett Elementary recently welcomed families to campus for its first-ever “Parents to PE” event, giving parents a fun and interactive look into their child’s physical education experience.
Students in Pre-K 3 through 1st grade invited their parents to join them in the gym and outdoor activity areas, where they rotated through a variety of stations. Each station highlighted skills and games students have been learning throughout the school year, allowing them to demonstrate their progress while engaging their families in the activities.
From movement-based games to skill-building exercises, the event created a hands-on opportunity for parents to experience the importance of physical education alongside their children. Laughter, encouragement, and teamwork were on full display as families participated together.
“Parents to PE” not only allowed students to showcase their learning but also strengthened the connection between school and home, reinforcing the value of an active and healthy lifestyle.
