The North Lamar High School Wind Ensemble will present their UIL concert program on Sunday, March 29, at 3:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church. The performance will serve as a preview as the ensemble prepares for upcoming UIL competition.
Earlier this week, fifth grade students from North Lamar Intermediate had a special opportunity to attend a sneak peek of the performance. In addition to hearing selections from the program, students engaged in a question-and-answer session with Band Director Austin Snow, learning more about the band program as they prepare to transition into sixth grade.
The experience provided an exciting introduction to the opportunities available in band, giving future students a closer look at the dedication and talent of the high school ensemble.
The community is invited to attend Sunday’s performance and support these student musicians as they showcase their hard work and preparation.
