Betty Marie (Little) White, 85, passed away peacefully on Feb. 23, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and faith. A devoted mother of five, she selflessly dedicated her life to her children, serving as a single mother for most of their upbringing and making countless sacrifices to ensure their well-being.
Betty, the daughter of G. C. Little & Oletha Kathryn Fowler Little, was born Sept. 4, 1940, in Cunningham, TX.
Raised as a farmer’s daughter, she learned the value of hard work early in life – lessons she carried with her always. For 30 years, she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant, compassionately caring for the elderly and touching many lives with her kindness and patience.
She bravely survived cancer during the COVID pandemic and later faced Lewy body dementia with quiet courage. Her life was defined by resilience.
She lived a long and meaningful life filled with hard work, devotion, faith, and family. Though her body grew tired, her spirit remained strong. We find comfort in knowing she is now at peace, resting in the loving arms of her Lord and Savior – whole, restored, and free from confusion and pain.
Though she is no longer with us in body, her love remains woven into our hearts forever.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Ricky Wayne White and Dana Glenn White; her grandson, Kasey Ellis Burch; her father and mother, G. C. Little and Oletha Kathryn Little; and her sisters, Helen Sue Marsh and Carol Stone.
She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Burch-Vasquez, and her favorite son-in-law, Racel Vasquez of Cibolo, TX; her son, Brad White and his wife Heather of Morgans Point, TX; her son, Randy White and his wife Amy of Defuniack Springs, FL; her grandsons, Gregory Christopher Burch and Ryan White; her granddaughters, Ivette (White) Fitzgerald, Meghan White, Acelynn White, and Branwyn White; her two great-granddaughters, Isabella Burch and Marley Taylor; and her great grandson, Eli Burch. Surviving siblings include Martha Tieszen of Denton, Gaylon Little and wife LaQuita of Paris, Pat Johnson of Paris, Phyllis Mazy of Paris, and Kim Williams & husband Lynn of Paris and many nieces and nephews along with a host of friends.
