Michael DeCrane, 73, passed away on February 10, 2026, in Paris, Texas.
Born on September 30, 1952, in Amarillo, Texas, Michael was the son of Frank and Donna DeCrane. He grew up with a strong sense of duty and commitment that would later define much of his life. Michael proudly served his country in the United States Army for six years, earning an honorable discharge in recognition of his faithful service.
A man of many passions, Michael found joy in the roar of NASCAR engines, the thrill of football games, and the peace of the great outdoors. These interests brought him happiness throughout his life and reflected his spirited and adventurous nature.
Above all else, Michael cherished time spent with his family. He will be deeply missed by his children—Michelle Pennington, Eric DeCrane, Jeanette Remple, and Matthew DeCrane—as well as by his beloved grandchildren. His presence in their lives was a source of strength and love that will be remembered always.
May Michael’s memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved him.
Cremation was under the care and direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home.
