CASA for Kids of Paris, Texas, is urgently seeking additional foster homes in Lamar, Red River, and Delta counties, as the organization currently has only seven available homes for more than 100 children in care.
“Because of this shortage children are placed far from their schools and support systems, siblings may be separated, and youth may spend nights in offices or emergency placements,” said CASA for Kids. “Every child deserves a safe, stable home during one of the most difficult times in their life.”
“Foster parents do not have to be perfect — they just need a safe home and a caring heart. Training and support are provided every step of the way. If you have ever considered fostering — now is the time. If fostering isn’t an option for you, sharing this post helps more than you know.”
To learn more about becoming a foster parent, contact CASA ( 903-737-4346) or a licensed foster care agency.
“Together, we can make sure no child feels forgotten.”
