Paris police responded to an auto-pedestrian accident in the 200 block of 20th NE on Sept. 12, after the driver of the vehicle which had struck the pedestrian stopped and called 911.
According to reports, a caller initially advised emergency services that the driver had left the scene, however; when officers arrived they found that the driver of the vehicle which had struck the pedestrian had stopped and called 911.
The driver of the vehicle stayed on the scene for the entirety of the investigation and cooperated fully with the investigation.
The pedestrian was treated at the scene and then taken by Paris EMS to PRMC where they were airlifted to a medical facility in the DFW Area.
At this time, all involved parties and vehicles involved in the accident have been identified.
