Following its second bankruptcy filing since 2018, teen retailer Claire’s is closing several locations across the country — including its Paris store — with liquidation sales already underway.
According to a local employee, no closing date has been announced, but closing sales have already begun.
The Illinois-based company, which has 1,326 stores across the U.S., specializes in selling necklaces, bracelets, and various accessories including headphones and soft toys.
The retailer also offers ear-piercing, claiming to have pierced over 100 million ears since 1978.
Claire’s is located at 3534 Lamar Avenue (Paris Towne Center).
