It’s been an exciting season for Paris youth baseball, and it’s not over yet — four Paris Optimist Club All-Star teams are headed to the World Series.
At the recent Texas Diamond Youth Baseball State Championships, Paris’ 6U Coach Pitch All-Stars, 10U All-Stars, and 11U All-Stars each won their respective State Championship titles — earning a well-deserved spot at the World Series.
Paris’ 7U All-Star team might not have brought home the state title, but the team has been invited to attend the World Series.
The season couldn’t have been more exciting with impressive games by all teams.
The 11U All-Stars went a perfect 5-0 and outscored their opponents 48-8, while the 6U Coach Pitch All-Stars dominated with a 6-0 record, racking up a combined score of 108-13 on their way to the state title.
The 10U All-Star team will be chasing its fourth consecutive World Series title — and marking the fifth straight year the team has advanced to the big stage.
“These young athletes have put in countless hours of hard work, showing dedication, determination, and team spirit throughout the summer. Their efforts have paid off with the opportunity to compete on one of the biggest stages in youth baseball.”
Teams are now preparing for the Dixie Youth Baseball World Series representing the state of Texas.
Both the 11U All-Stars and 7U All-Stars will play in Texarkana, AR, while the 6U All-Stars will head to Dunn, North Carolina and 10U All-Stars go to Lexington, South Carolina.
