After a successful golf tournament in September, Pine Ridge Golf Course on Wednesday presented a $1,800 check to Habitat for Humanity to help the local non-profit.
“In a year when non-profits are struggling more than ever all over the world due to this pandemic, we feel blessed that our golfing community came out to partner with us to support these folks,” said Clubhouse Manager Laura Spencer.
Habitat for Humanity is a global nonprofit housing organization working in local communities across all 50 states in the U.S. and in approximately 70 countries. Habitat’s vision is of a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
“This donation was half of the profits from the tournament Pine Ridge sponsored to benefit Habitat in September,” said Spencer.
Habit for Humanity said, “what a blessing. Thank you Pine Ridge and to all the golfers who participated.”
