2nd Annual Food Truck Wars || Benefiting United Way of Lamar County

The United Way of Lamar County (UWLC) announced that the 2nd Annual United Way Food Truck Wars will be held on Friday, November 2nd from 11am – 1pm at the corner of Collegiate Drive and Lamar Avenue.

Jenny Wilson, Executive Director of the UWLC, stated, “Went  are so excited to be holding this event again this year as part of our annual Campaign. We are so grateful to last year’s winner Burgerland and to all the food trucks that participated. We want people to come out and have lunch and help us celebrate the end of our campaign.”

Participating food trucks currently include Burgerland, Blue Moon Street Eats, Pittin’ & Grillin, Crawford’s Hole in the Wall, Country Belle Pies, Kona Ice and the Chocolate Kettle. 92.7 Kiss FM will also be onsite with a live broadcast.

All food trucks are invited to attend and asked to make a donation to the United Way of Lamar County from the proceeds of this event. The food truck with the largest donation to the United Way is awarded the title of “United Way Food Truck of the Year. ” To register your food truck, call 903-784-6642 or email jenny.wilson@lamarcountyuw.org.
