Paris Fire Department responded to an involved-house fire shortly before 7 p.m. Thursday, and extinguished flames in a flash.
Once crews arrived on scene of the fire at 1418 Shiloh Street, they reported flames were coming from the back side of the vacant building.
According to Paris fire reports, the building “appeared to be used as a storage building” and had no utilities. However, the fire is believed to have started in a wall, close to the ceiling line near a wiring junction box, according to Paris Fire Department.
Units were on scene until about 8:25 p.m., and the cause of the fire was deemed undetermined after the investigation.
