Paris Regional Medical Center is gearing up to host a free health screening event for residents in Lamar County slated for Feb. 19.
“Periodically, we are able to offer free health screenings to the community. We will measure participants’ weight, body mass index, and blood pressure to screen for wellness and potential cardiac risk factors. The service is free of charge to anyone who wants to be evaluated,” said Lori Kerley, Chest Pain Coordinator with PRMC.
Kerley hopes that by providing the screening, they will be able to capture many people who are leaving work and would not have been able to attend during regular business hours.
“If you’re concerned about your heart health, not sure where you stand, or are simply curious about potential risk factors, we’d love to help you. We’re proud to be at the heart of your care,” she added.
The event will be held at the Paris Regional Medical Center’s main lobby located on the first floor of the hospital on Wed, Feb. 19, from 4-6 p.m.
