Winnie Lorene Hicks Pearce, 97, of Reno, Texas passed away March 8, 2024 at her daughter’s home in Direct, Texas. Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 12, 2024 under the Evergreen Cemetery Open Air Chapel with Rev. Wade White officiating. Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to service.
Winnie was born on August 22, 1926 in Lampasas, Texas , the daughter of Theodore and Cynthia Hicks. She married Glyn Pearce in Texas. They moved between Texas and Yuma, Arizonia over the years.
There were 3 children, Marie Garner and family, Nicky Pearce (deceased), and LaTonne Parson and husband, Gary (Buster) Parson; grandson, Joe Parson and wife, Holly; great grandsons, Jacob Parson wife, Cheyenne, Joshua Parson and fiance’, Brianna Lester, and Tyler Hollenshead and husband, Brice.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glyn Pearce, grandson, Lonny Glyn Parson, and all of her brothers and sisters.
The family would like to express appreciation to the Waterford Hospice staff for the excellent care and the many prayers of church family and friends.
