Wilma Lucille Simmons passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2019, in Sulphur Springs, Texas.

A graveside service has been set for Saturday, February 9, 2019, at 11:00 am at Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Eric Moore officiating.  No formal visitation has been set.

She was born in Maxey, Texas on April 19, 1922 to Frank and Ethel Walden Robinson.  She married Floyd C. Simmons in June of 1941 in Hugo, Oklahoma.

Wilma is survived by her daughter, Sondra Gail and her husband Dennis Wolin; her son, Danny Floyd Simmons; her late daughter Gwen’s husband, Bill Yarger; granddaughter, Jennifer Gwendolyn and her husband Mark Fitter; grandson, Jefferson Davis Simmons; grandsons Paul, David and John Yarger and their wives Jessica, Amy and Danielle; grandson, Tim Wolin and his wife Casey; fifteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Charles Simmons in 1995; and her daughter, Gwendolyn Joyce Yarger in 2015.
