Wilma Lee Follmar, 97, of Paris, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at her home while surrounded by family.
Memorial services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 25th at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Ray Haley, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Follmar, the daughter of Dewey & Bertha Johnson Beard, was born Feb. 19, 1921, in Lamar County.
For a number of years she worked in the laundry at Pleasant Grove Nursing Home and at Parkview Nursing Home.
She was preceded in death by five children; Linda Akins, Vickie Gaither, Alvie Clark, Wilma Jean Clark and Paul David Clark.
Survivors include her husband, James Follmar, whom she married in 1954, three children; Tammy Reaves of Paris, Donna Seat & husband Jimmy of Powderly and Brenda Mantooth & husband Kenneth of Paris, 17 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, two brothers; Roy Beard & wife Linda of Paris and Ted Beard of Brownwood along with several nieces and nephews.
