William H. Curry, Jr., 73, of Paris, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at his home.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 11th, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Helen Rayburn, officiating. A formal visitation will not be scheduled. Following the chapel service private burial will be made in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
Mr. Curry, the son of William H. Curry, Sr. and Cora Smith Curry, was born May 22, 1944, in Westbrook, ME.
He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. William worked at several area paint & body shops and was an automobile mechanic.
His parents and a grandchild preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Jones Curry, children; Lesia Curry Latta & husband Edward of Junction City, KS, Cathy Mae Nettles & husband Butch of Paris, Tony Howard Perry & wife Annette of Paris and Stacey Joe Noah & wife Jamie of Sumner, twelve grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and one sister, Karen Garner of Paris along with a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials are made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
