Wiliam Michael Liesman, 71, of Paris, passed away Sunday, Oct. 20, 2024, at Paris Regional Health. Cremation was under the care and direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home. At a later date there will be a Native American Indian ceremony in Missouri where he will be laid to rest next to his father.
Michael, the son of Bill Liesman and Betty Westbrook Liesman, was born March 23, 1953, in Longview, TX.
He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He found pleasure in painting and was a wonderful storyteller. He worked a number of years at Flex-O-Lite and Southwest Foundry before beginning a career with the PCA Clinic where he remained until retirement.
His parents preceded him in death. Survivors include two children, Rebecca Liesman and Chad Liesman and wife Ashley, four grandchildren, Kaylynn and husband Hunter, Corbin, Kayden, and Carson and one great grandson, Asher along with numerous family members and a host of friends.
