Wanda Lou Smith, 78, of Paris, passed away Sunday, Sept. 28, 2025, at her home.
Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled services for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1st at the Pavilion of McDonald Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Duvall officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 – 2 p.m. Wednesday at the cemetery.
Mrs. Smith, the daughter of Clyde Edward Netz and Lillian Adkins Netz, was born May 10, 1947, in Independence, MO. She attended First Baptist Church of Bogata. She enjoyed playing BINGO at Flamingo BINGO where she had many friends.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Ronald Edward Netz, a grandson, Zane Newsom, and a great granddaughter, Ali Cobb. Survivors include two daughters, Amy Newsom and husband Greg and Marlene Rhea and husband Randy, four grandchildren, Dillon Newsom and wife McKayla, Lane Newsom, Jessica Huff, and Cody Perkins and wife Alexandria, and six great grandchildren, Nakona Newsom, Corbin Cobb, Keeli Green, Williams Huff, Benjamin Perkins, and Judson Perkins along with numerous extended family members and friends.
Casket bearers will be: Dillon Newsom, Lane Newsom, Cody Perkins, Randy Rhea, Greg Newsom, and Corbin Cobb.
