Virginia “Gina” Ruth Watson Thompson was born on January 12, 1941, in Paris, Tx to Ted and Thelma Watson. She entered Heaven’s gate on July 10, 2025.
Gina was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary Lois Templeton; brothers, Edmond Watson and Jessie Watson and two sons, Gene Thompson Jr and Arthur Thompson.
She is survived by her daughter, Regina Henley, her brothers Gary and wife Mattie Watson, Marvin and wife Cynthia Watson and sister Paula and husband Ronnie Turpin, her grandchildren, Christi and husband Matt Wright, Michael and wife Lauren Henley, Gene III and wife Jamie Thompson, Jeffery and wife Sandy Thompson, Sean and wife Kelly Thompson, David and wife Ginnie Henley, Chris and wife Amber Thompson and Kathryn and husband Brandon Rodriguez, 10 great grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews along with a host of friends.
Services will be held on Sunday, August 10th at 2 pm at The Saving Grace Ministries at 901 19th Street NW, Paris, TX 75460. Cremation was under the care and direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that memorials/donations be made to The Saving Grace Ministries.
